Banners for selected concepts
Sometimes videos and other media bring ´´strange´´ or complex concepts to the table. For example, ´´CPU architecture´´ or ´´System Memory´´. A good way (although inefficient) of displaying these concepts in a more familiar form are: Banners!! So, here are some banners with info in them. Enjoy
Concepts: Moore´s Law; CPU architecture; Silicon-based chips; What are Turing machines; Relation between computers and Turing machines.

"C & D" THINKING AND MINDMAPPING
"C & D"
Convergent:
Convergent questions are the ones that get you to one answer. Every question get you to the same answer. The questions most of the times begin with: who, what, where, when, etc. This kind of questions are useless for research about a big topic, but they are very usefull for specifics parts of a topic. In a very short sentence convergent questions are for basics topics.
Divergent:
Divergent questions are the ones you use to explore about one topic. They are very usefull for a research of a big topic. With this questions you can get a very big quantity of information of the topic you want to know about or research. The questions most of the times begin with: how could, suppose, what might, etc. For making a divergent question you might all ready know about the topic. So,divergent questions are for a depth research.
Mindmapping:
Mindmapping is very usefull when doing a research about a topic in which you use divergent questions. I think that it is a good idea because you can file the information you find, and is very easy to errase if you think is a bad info or change it if you find a better one. You cant forget that it is much better, readable and understandable than making a normal text with information.

C&D Thinking
Convergent Thinking Divergent Thinking
☝ Divergent Thinking is when you from a main Topic, you get many subtopics, Divergent Thinking is more abstract that the Convergent Thinking. You can get a bunch of solutions from the main topic amd get the answer based in this Stimulate.
☝ Convergent Thinking is more concrete that many others. This way of Thinking it's the other way around that the Divergent Thinking, you have many subtopics and all this Facts arrive at an answer. This answer is like your main topic.
☝ I personally prefer the Divergent Thinking because is more efective and you can understend more the main topic. I find ir easier to study when i use the Divergent way of Thinking. This last picture is my last work and for this work i use the Divergent way of thinking the main topic is Computer.
☝ Mind mapping is a highly effective way of getting information in and out of your brain. Mind mapping is a creative and logical means of note-taking and note-making that literally "maps out" your ideas.
☝ All Mind Maps have some things in common. They have a natural organizational structure that radiates from the center and use lines, symbols, words, color and images according to simple, brain-friendly concepts. Mind mapping converts a long list of monotonous information into a colorful, memorable and highly organized diagram that works in line with your brain's natural way of doing things.
☝ I dont use this tool very often but is a very effective way of doing a presentation or to study from a topic.
C&D thinking and mindmapping
There is no right way of thinking: only different ways, which apply better varying in the situation. Two good examples of these are convergent and divergent thinking, which are two completely different ways of even approaching a situation.
Convergent thinking is the more ¨simple¨ way the two. It bases mainly in the use of one or more facts to reach the answer. Basically is to have a question, search for the needed facts and produce the answer. This form of thinking is more concrete than many others, and it´s specially useful for short, concrete questions that need short, concrete answers.
Divergent thinking however, is more, abstract, one could say. It bases in a stimulus, to generate a bunch of possible solutions for the question, and then generate the answer based on that. So, unlike convergent thinking, which is more concrete, divergent thinking is more abstract and (sometimes) more complete in the answer.
In my humble opinion, I think that, while divergent thinking is pretty useful, convergent thinking can provide more and more efficient solutions in a real life environment (not schoolwork, for example). This is due to two main factors: simplicity and the inherent need of it for the use of divergent thinking.
Here enters the use of Mindmaps for ilustrating and managing the information and it`s relations. You can either use a mindmap for developing a concept, or for stating the parts of that make the answer.
